Dresses Vs Winter
Unlike the other seasons, winter season always challenges our dress style. It is something where we have to pull all the clothes (winter dresses) from our closet to mix & match, and dress perfectly.
As usual, I do the same thing! Bewildered with a long pause, I used to have one hell of time near my closet, just to decide what to wear, and end up emptying the closet.
What happens next??
Here comes the loud screech from mom for pulling out all the wardrobe stuff on big sized mattress 😉 Even if the rebukes last for a while, we keep defending our behavior with many stupid reasons. Saying something in a dull tone like, “I am unable to find anything to wear” and keep staring at the heap of clothes.
Though this is a routine story for every girl, I felt like putting an end point in this state of confusion. So, I started following many fashion bloggers and designers, often discussed on fashion related artifacts with them. The common word that got registered in my mind was “Comfort”.
Obviously, it’s a big fat yes! Whatever might be the dress we put on, or however we organize them, comfort matters a lot. We care for it because we want ourselves to stay comfortable without any wardrobe malfunctioning throughout the day.
I have come across a myth on the winter skies and winter dresses. But, I never hesitate to wear bright shades in this dreary and dark climate.
If you are bored with wearing the same jeans & shrugs, you can still update yourself with fashion trends, and keep yourself warm against the winter chills.
All you need is to organize those multiple fabric layers by curving a lightweight scarf around the neck, teaming up with a leather belt, gloves for heat touch, and a pair of hand knitted socks cushioned in the sneakers.
Now, I would like to share my mini experiment. A soft wool woven skullcap underneath a hat to cover ears from the cool wind blows. Does it sound weird? Definitely no! I can say that it’s a must try. You will look beyond cool.
Keep experimenting yourself with whatever wardrobe collection you have, ensure to stay comfortable, and create great outfits from them.
But, don’t empty your closet! Not again hahaha! 😉
